Carl — Website Strategy / Business Solutions
I help companies find where their websites are getting in the way of customers—and turn those problems into better experiences, useful tools, and clearer paths to a sale.
See what I mean01 — The Problem
I look for the places where your website makes it harder for customers to make a decision.
02 — The Possibility
Sometimes the opportunity isn’t a new website. It’s finding better ways for the website you already have to help customers make decisions.
Turn a large product line into a manageable set of relevant options.
Use technical variables to give customers a useful recommendation.
Guide customers through compatible products, equipment and options.
Ask the right questions, narrow the choices and move customers toward the appropriate solution.
03 — How I Work
I look at the website from the customer’s and business’s point of view. Where are customers getting stuck? What questions keep coming up? What manual work is being repeated? Where could the website be contributing more?
I determine the simplest useful solution to the problem. The answer isn’t automatically a redesign, a UX project or a particular type of tool. It’s whatever would genuinely improve the situation.
I create a working prototype so the idea can be seen, used, evaluated and improved before making a larger development investment.
When the idea makes sense, I work with experienced development partners as needed to turn the prototype into a finished solution within the company’s website.
04 — Featured Example
Commercial truck equipment comes in hundreds of combinations. Instead of asking customers to understand the entire product line, this concept starts with the work they need to do and guides them toward an appropriate setup.

Your recommendation
Customers have to sort through truck bodies, cranes, capacities and options before they may even know what they need.
Ask a short series of practical questions about the customer’s work, then use those answers to narrow the available configurations.
Customers arrive better informed, while the sales team spends less time answering basic product-selection questions and more time helping customers finalize the right solution.
05 — About Carl
I’ve spent my career helping companies solve communication and business problems.
That experience taught me to look beyond what something looks like and ask a more useful question: What could this be doing better for the business?
Today, I apply that thinking primarily to websites—finding places where customers get stuck, sales teams repeat work, or complicated products are harder to understand than they need to be.
I bring the strategy and problem-solving needed to turn those opportunities into practical solutions. I prototype ideas so they can be evaluated before making a larger investment. When development is required, I work with experienced partners to move an idea into a finished solution.
Experience, applied.
